Weissfluhjoch

Grandiose view at 2663 meters above sea level

The Weissfluhjoch is 2693 m above sea level. M. high mountain in the plural Alps in Switzerland. It is located in the north-west of Davos in the triangle of the Landwassertal, Prättigau and Schanfigg regions and is, as it were, the local mountain of the Alpine city. The Parsennbahn has been opening up the Weissfluhjoch for tourism since 1932.

Parsenn

Parsenn is a skiing and hiking area above Davos and is operated by Davos Klosters Bergbahnen AG. The name goes back to the alpine pastures below the Gotschnagrates.

Biking

Davos Klosters is one of the most attractive bike destinations in Graubünden. The signposted mountain bike tours on the approximately 700 km long network of trails make every biker's heart beat faster and offer even the most experienced mountain biker a fantastic biking and nature experience.

The descent from the Davos Weissfluhjoch to Küblis is one of the most legendary and longest ski slopes in Switzerland - in summer with an adapted route but also a first-class and exceptional single trail descent for mountain bikers. The key data: 15 kilometers and 1860 meters depth. The route is called “Duranna Run” and is one of the longest mountain bike runs in Graubünden.

Gotschna Freeride
5 km of downhill fun at its best
This spectacular rollercoaster for mountain bikers and downhill cracks is 5 km long. On the route you will find over 30 tables, berms, various drops, steep wall curves and northshore elements.
The route leads to the valley station of the Gotschnabahn and is also suitable for beginners, as there is always the possibility of avoiding the obstacles.

Hiking

The Weissfluhjoch is considered an ideal starting point for many beautiful hiking routes. Depending on how much time you have planned or how much stamina you have, you will definitely find the right destination for your trip.
On the Parsenn High Trail you hike at an altitude of around 2,300 meters between Gotschnagrat and Strela Pass. It is also suitable for families, although there are some rocky sections.
In the south you hike on the sunny side. However, even in summer, snowflakes are no surprise on cooler days.

If Arosa is your hiking destination, you should take a little more time. It takes around five hours to hike from Weissfluhjoch to the community, which is known as a climatic health resort. Settlers were drawn to the attractive landscape region as early as the 13th century.
Your reward for the extensive hike is the numerous sights.
Concerts take place regularly in the Bergkirchli from the 15th century.
But just a tour of the magical village and a break in one of the cozy inns should make up for the hike through the enchanting landscape.
